Kerosene Tester A must have for any kerosene heater user. Tests the quality of clear or dyed kerosene. Poor quality fuel can ruin your expensive kerosene heater and wick. Made with lifetime vinyl specially for kerosene Be sure it's pure... before you pour Easy to use and has many other uses. Other uses include: *Check for moisture *Visually check the appearance of clear or dyed kerosene (Amber, Yellow or Cloudy indicates poor quality kerosene) *Siphon fuel from tank for storage *To wet the wick for repeat burn-off and priming a new wick These are brand new, but old stock. These are very hard to find and are limited in quantity. Once they are gone, they are gone. PLEASE READ: These are a great item, but they are very brittle and require gentle handling. The little glass float inside the glass tube can break the first time you drop the tester. You can still use the tester for all other tests and priming wicks. I used to use these many years ago and then couldn't find any more. I still use the siphon when working on heaters. I ran across several from an old dealer's inventory. There is no factory warranty or returns. They will be fully inspected and in perfect condition before shipping. If you receive a tester and it is broke, it happened during shipping and must be reported immediately to the shipper for insurance replacement.
