HOME OF THE NETS OLDEST
AND LARGEST SELECTION OF
Red Dye in Kerosene
The kerosene (K-1) dye issue has arrived
officially as of July 1, 1998. Only K-1 Fuel with the red dye is
available without the extra Federal transportation taxes. Therefore, you will be using
this "new" product in your Kerosene heating products, unless you are willing to
pay the extra 24 cent tax.
We have received several letters from people saying they are using the new red kerosene and are experiencing no problems, while others write in and are very displeased with the new fuel. Comments range from bad odors to gummed up wicks and stuck wick adjusters.
If we can be of further assistance, please e-mail us at email@example.com .
